Rules and eligibility

Every FormG division runs the same rulesets and standards used at the pro level.

You qualify for Pro-Am if…

  • Played a LAN event and placed
  • Played online cups or qualifiers for another pro organization
  • Played for a professional organization or a challengers team
  • A Pro-Am GM or coach wants you on their roster

Otherwise you start in Amateur

  • No LAN placement, pro-org qualifier or challengers history yet
  • Enter the draft — every entrant is eligible to be picked
  • Undrafted? You go on the free agent list automatically
  • You can be called up any time by a GM, coach or admin

Roster rules

  • Main roster size matches the game format: 4 starters in every Call of Duty league, 5 starters in Counter Strike 2 and Rainbow Six Siege.
  • A team cannot sign more starters than its league allows — an extra player must be signed into a substitute spot.
  • Rosters lock for the season at the league's roster lock date and time.
  • Once a league is locked, nobody but an admin can add, drop, move or re-flag a player.
  • Every team carries exactly two substitute spots on top of its starting roster — a third substitute is rejected.
  • Both substitute spots must be paid for by the team, on top of the starting roster spots.
  • Substitute spots are discounted against a main roster spot, since subs play fewer maps than starters.
  • Every player, coach and general manager submits a profile picture for their card.
  • Every team pays for one coach spot and one general manager spot, in every league.
  • A team is only roster compliant with a named, paid coach, a named, paid GM and both substitute spots paid.
  • Teams may trade, sign free agents and drop players at any point before the lock.
  • Every rostered spot must be paid before that player is match eligible — starters and substitutes alike.
  • Pro-Am teams bring their own rosters. Amateur and Academy rosters are set by the draft.
  • In every Call of Duty league, each team names one IGL (in-game leader) as a secondary position on top of their main position.
  • The IGL calls the strategy, makes mid-round decisions and is the team's voice in map vetoes and disputes.
  • Only one player per team may hold IGL at a time — to change IGL, the current one must give it up before a teammate takes it.

Anti-cheat and PC checks

  • Players, coaches and GMs all agree to PC checks as a condition of playing.
  • An admin or PC checker may request a check before, during or after any match.
  • Refusing a check is a forfeit and can end in a league ban.
  • Zero tolerance for cheating, account sharing or ringers.

Streaming

  • Stream your matches if you can — any public streaming service, or a Discord stream.
  • Console players who cannot screen share in Discord or stream to a live platform are not required to stream.
  • Mark "I can't stream" on your profile and no stream is expected of you.
  • If you do stream, keep it up for the full series; delay is optional but must be disclosed.

Competitive standards

  • Same rulesets, map pools and conduct standards used at the pro level.
  • Match results are reported by both teams and confirmed by an admin.
  • Disputes go through a support ticket, not chat.
